Enhanced Scheduling

This section details features which compliment the Permanent Booking module, they are designed specifically to support fixed routes (scheduled/dedicated) environments:

Permanent Versions
Allows the entire set of permanent bookings (routes) to be duplicated for a nominated date. This allows you to edit selected jobs for the nominated date (turn off jobs, add jobs, move/add/delete stops, change times, etc) leaving the original jobs file intact. Useful for managing one-time changes to routes weeks in advance of major holidays, without having to undo those changes before loading jobs for the next business day.

Job Scheduling
Specify when job is to be performed via any combination of:
• Days of the week
• Time of day
• Types of week (odd, even, all, etc.)
• Commencement date
• Termination date
• No. of times job should be performed
• Exception dates available to easily work around public holidays
• Pre-allocate a designated driver if required
• Mark job as “auto-allocate” (to save dispatcher from having to do so)
• Mark job as “auto-complete” (useful for monthly billing tickets)

Multi-stop functionality

• Next day re-schedule: cancel for holiday, load on next day
• Move entire week one day: moves Mon job to Tue, Tue to Wed, etc.
• Delay cancel to next day: cancels job on day after holiday

Permanent Booking Loader
• Ability to load selected jobs from within the Permanent Booking client
• Ability to repeatedly run the loader without risking duplicate orders
• Easy to add new scheduled jobs and immediately load for "today"
• Load jobs by day or day range, and/or customer or customer range, or by individual job no., up to a week in advance.

Exceptional Job Details
• Load up to 2 sundries per stop, useful way to permanently add flat sundry fees such as insurance, tolls, airbill charges, agent fees, etc.
• Overriding fee and pay tables: supports overriding fee and/or pay table which applies only to that job. Useful when different rate structures like weight and waiting time are sold on permanent jobs
• Automatic PoP and PoD messages to message group: flag a job to automatically notify CSR or customer of Proof of Pickup or Proof of Delivery.
• “Will-call” feature: Marks job with a 'WC' icon to alert dispatcher of pending job

Early Warning display

Blacklist feature

Allocation blocking
Useful for driver expiry notices: when you try to pre-allocate or allocate a job to a driver who has had allocations blocked (either warning or complete block), dispatcher gets a pop-up dialog appropriate to the level of warning.
